This will be an opportunity to experience two of the many "religious" faces that make Delhi a city where perhaps every creed and spiritual philosophy finds a way to express itself, through the multiculturalism of its inhabitants who come from various parts of India.
In a metropolis of about 20 million, these are the percentages quite adequate to the current situation: Hindu 81.68%, Muslim 12.86%, Christian 0.87%, Sikh 3.40%, Buddhist 0.11%, Jain, 0.99%. The remaining are Farsi (Zoroastrians), Jews, Bahá'ís (if I have left nothing else out).
On this occasion we will visit a very special place, a house of worship built by the Bahá'í religious current, better known as the Lotus Temple, the Bahá'í Mandir is unique in its kind, both for the architecture and for the rules that applied there and this makes it particularly interesting and "welcoming", even if it is absolutely simple inside. Here anyone can enter and pray to their God, but not preach or read text laudly. No sacred images of any kind are permitted in order to give the place the maximum expression of freedom of worship.
From here we will walk to reach the nearby Hindu Temple which, unlike the Lotus Temple built only in the mid-1980s, has much more ancient origins.
We are talking about the Kalka ji Mandir, it is a Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kali, one of the Avatars of the Goddess Parvati, the "wife" of Lord Shiva.
An interesting opportunity to get to know both better and the chance to visit one of the, if not the most important Hindu Temple in Delhi, where I have had rather singular  and interesting encounters.
